HiVolt Electric’s Substation Support Department provides field services that help utilities construct, maintain, and improve critical substation infrastructure. Our team supports safe, efficient execution of substation-related work with an emphasis on reliability, coordination, quality, and adherence to project and operational requirements.
Substation Equipment
- Substation yard support (site readiness coordination and work packaging support)
- TX / DX Egress/ingress constructed, repaired, or replaced
- Ground grid, bonding, and grounding connections per owner standards
- Conduit and cable support (raceway installs, termination readiness, labeling)
- Station service and auxiliary power support (as directed by municipal scope)
- Distribution‑class equipment installation support (switches, breakers, transformers) per OEM/owner direction
- Test/commissioning readiness support (pre‑checks, documentation, punch-list closeout)
- Repair/Install Substation security fence and associated bonding

Project Controls, Documentation, and Closeout
- Planning and scheduling aligned to access windows, outages, and customer impact constraints
- Owner‑ready closeout packages (photos, as‑built markups, device/asset information where required)
- Material reconciliation and staging coordination where applicable
- Daily/weekly reporting options aligned to program KPIs (productivity, backlog, schedule adherence) where requested

Street Lighting & Area Lighting (Municipal Focus)
- LED conversion programs (cobrahead and area lighting, where applicable)
- Fixture change‑outs, bracket/arm replacements, and knockdown repairs
- Photocell / control installs and troubleshooting
- Public safety make‑safe response and restoration support
Emergency Response and Mutual Aid Support
- On‑call response for outages and urgent repairs
- Storm Restoration surge support and mobilization planning
- Material staging and logistics coordination
- Safety‑first Emergency Operations (job brief documentation, daily reporting as requested)
